All appointments for The Hair Academy Training Salon are made throughout online booking calendar. This calendar shows all available services and times depending on our current training and student skills. When you book online you will be asked some questions about your hair, this is to prepare students for your appointment and allow them to understand what services are required.

Appointments can be changed or cancelled using the SMS you receive when making the booking or using the link in the calendar invite that is emailed when the appointment is made. You can also call the academy, leave a message and someone will get back to you when they are available.

Each booking requires a $10 deposit to secure your appointment. We have limited availability on some days and need to ensure that our bookings are attending and ready for students. This deposit is deducted from your final cost. Deposits are non refundable but can be moved to a new time for the same customer.

If you cant see availability this means that all available spots are filled. Be aware that the training salon availability will adjust as students progress through their course and will depend on student numbers each day.

All hair consultations are conducted in the training salon as this is part of the eduction process. We do not do consultations over the phone or chat as students need to see your hair in person and make educated decision on how to approach each service.

The Hair Academy use O&M Treatment + Styling Products & K18 Biomimetic products for all services. These are also available to purchase in the salon and use at home.

The Hair Academy Training Salon is an educational salon where students learn and are supervised by professional trainers. Services may take longer than a normal salon as the students are learning and often taking more time to make sure they provide the best service to the customer. Please allow enough time for your service.

Our prices are generally 25% to 40% of what you would pay in a professional salon. As a training salon we are  all about education and the prices reflect that you will be getting services provided by students learning their skills.

As a training salon you need to be 16years old to attend the salon or if you are under 16 have an adult attend with you. This is a requirement for our salon as an educational provider.

As a training salon we do not allow children to be in the salon. The salon has chemicals and tools which can be dangerous. This is a requirement for our salon as an educational provider.

Students are allocated to appointments on a daily basis depending on their skill level and where they are up in their course. Unfortunately we cannot allocate specific students to appointments.
